Everyone thrilled when Google announced the photos app in Google I/O 2015. Prior to that so many used Picasa as their photo sharing app. Many people are not happy that Picasa included in Google+. Some will try to find the answers why Google did that merging. But for all the critics the wait is over. Google released a complete photo managing app to Android and iOS devices as well as it works on PC.
Initial impressions
The app looks great with its stunning photo assistant and the complete photo library at one place. The collections will give you all the previous albums created earlier in Picasa and Google+. The most interesting part in this is that when you click on a search icon it will show the places and things in your photos. This is the most attractive feature. When somebody had no time to organize their photos into albums and collection. This feature will give you a chance to classify the pics according to the places visited and the things in your photographs.
Storage and Backup
Google is providing two options for users to select the storage either from the Google storage which is already given to your account or you can select the unlimited storage option which can store up to 16 mega pixel replica of your image and 1080p videos. Google also provided apps to iOS and android platforms to automatically backup you photos wherever your device is connected to internet. Google also provided a desktop app to copy locally stored photos of the hard drive and memory cards and pen drives which usually connects to your PC.
Final Verdict
A great app with great features and capabilities to organize one's photos in a proper manner.
